Care Instructions

Your 3D trail map is crafted to last. Follow these simple guidelines to keep it looking pristine for years.

General Handling

  • Handle your map by the edges or frame to avoid fingerprints on the terrain surface.
  • Avoid dropping or applying pressure to raised terrain features — they are detailed but delicate.
  • Store flat or wall-mounted; do not stack heavy items on top of framed pieces.

Cleaning

  • Gently dust with a soft, dry brush or compressed air to remove particles from grooves and elevation details.
  • For stubborn dust, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth — do not soak or submerge.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. These can damage the surface finish.
  • Do not use a dishwasher or ultrasonic cleaner.

Display & Environment

  • Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading or warping over time.
  • Avoid high-humidity areas like bathrooms. Room temperature environments are ideal.
  • If wall-mounted, ensure the hook or nail supports the frame weight securely.
  • Keep away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or direct lamp heat.

Keychains & Mini Trails

  • These are designed for everyday carry but avoid excessive force or bending.
  • The attachment ring is metal — it will not corrode under normal conditions.
  • If the surface gets dirty, wipe gently with a damp cloth and dry immediately.

What to Avoid

  • Do not paint over or apply adhesives to the surface.
  • Do not attempt to sand, drill, or modify the piece — this voids any replacement eligibility.
  • Avoid exposing PLA-based models to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
